Why business identification document and logo image are required during sign up?

In order to curb any form of impersonation, it is important that you submit a valid business identification document. This is used to verify the true ownership of the organization or business. Required document could be either of the following: a valid business license (e.g. CAC document), or other valid identification as proof. We will use the information and document provided to attest the true legitimacy of the account.

Identification document

During the sign up process, we require you to provide a document to proof that indeed the organization/business is not just registered, but that it is infact the right organization/business that we are dealing with. This document information helps us in confirming the true identity of your organization or business. Please note that we only use this document for identity verification purposes. No information will be shared with any external bodies.
In the event where an invalid document was provided, we will immediately terminate the account. All services used, authentications done prior to this discovery shall be terminated and you will not be able to use the sevices or verifiy any of the authenticated documents.

Logo Image

To get a unique digital authentication seal for your document, you are required to upload your organization or business logo during sign up. This is an identifier that is embedded into your authentication code, and it makes you uniquely stand out. There are required image specifications for your logo when uploading.

This logo image requirements gives a much more beautiful display in your account, and also gives a clearer embedded image in your authentication code.
